Turbine Meters

RMG turbine meters have a proven and matured technology that is widely used throughout the natural gas industry due to its good price-performance ratio. The first generation was approved by PTB in 1993. Ever since these meters have exceeded the requirements of the relevant international standards.

RMG Turbine meters are used in networks of both transport companies (TSOs) and by distribution network operators (DSOs). Here high measuring accuracy for custody transfer operation, short inlet distances, robust and low-maintenance devices are required.

In addition to the classic mechanical roller counter and pulse outputs RMG provides a series of electronic turbine meters. Both mechanical and electronic turbine meters are available in short body design for use as process meters in non-custody transfer.

Non Fiscal

Non Fiscal turbine meter

Non Fiscal meters are mostly used in the industry as process meters. RMG delivers these meters with a mechanical display or with a digital display. Meters with a digital display can also be equipped with a temperature and pressure sensors for output of vulome corrected flow.

Fiscal turbine meters

Fiscal turbine meters can be recognised by the 3D body lenght. This is one of the requirements for MID approved gas flow meters. Non Fiscal meters are mostly used in the industry as process RMG delivers these meters with a mechanical display or with a digital display. Meters with a digital display can also be equipped with a temperature and pressure sensors for output of vulome corrected flow.
